Didn&#039;t know Selsnick filmed the Madison Square Garden footage either.   

Just starting to scratch the surface reading about Rudolph Valentino&#039;s incredible and tragically short life.  

&#039; Got interested only recently having purchased a video of &quot;The Eagle&quot; at an estate sale (only knew of the Sheik movies prior) have since committed it to DVD.   

Really a wonderful story.  It may have been shot in California, but the costumes and camera angles readily created far away Russia....just amazing what they were able to accomplish.      

Valentino and Banky were of course gorgeous.
